*** Cash Register Express 9.42 has been released.
Anybody who has installed 9.40 and who is also using computerized credit card authorization and our new quick credit card authorization procedure should update to 9.42 immediately. A safeguard has been added to protect against duplicate credit card charges when a specific combination of credit card methods are used.
In addition to this required maintenance, gift receipts have been enhanced so you can print them for any invoice in the past (as opposed to only the last invoice). Most major retail and department stores do not have this level of flexibility in their gift receipt function. This was suggested by a few customers within a couple of days of using the new gift receipt feature.

If you already have Version 9.40 installed, only the small patch file needs to be downloaded and installed.
***If you have a current tech support contract, the upgrade to 9.42 is free. If your support contract is not current, please call to renew your support contract.
***A one-year single-user support contract is $300. A one year multi-user support contract is $499. Support contracts include all upgrades for one year.
