Our sales are up by 27 percent. We hope that with our quick checkout features, gift cards, emails, and other customer loyalty features, your sales have also increased.

We have worked hard to ensure that Cash Register Express and Restaurant Pro Express are the fastest checkout packages available. We believe that no other software package can get customers in and out of a store faster. We are continuously adding features to make even complicated transactions faster.

Our most acclaimed feature is our fast internet credit card processing using PC Charge. You don't have to press any buttons to end a transaction. Just scan a credit card, and the transaction is completed and approved and the receipt is printed.

We have added a new feature that lets you add prices "on the fly" (if your cashier has permission). What happens when a customer is purchasing an item that is not in inventory? Perhaps you forgot to put the item into inventory. Perhaps it has been mislabeled. It always happens at the worst time. Cash Register Express gives you six options when an item is not found on the computer. 1. Display an Item Not Found Message (so now the manager must be called). 2. Display Item Not Found and require the user to click or touch the OK button on the screen (so a second scan cannot take place by accident). The manager (or the clerk with permission) must also be called to enter the item into inventory. 3. A Quick Forced Entry Screen can pop up allowing the user to permanently add the item to inventory (and a report will be generated at the end of the day). 4. A Quick Entry Prompt can pop up before #3. Forced 5. A Full Forced Entry screen can pop up so you can enter extra details. 6. The same as 5 with a prompt.

In short, you never have to worry about items not in inventory using one of the above methods.

Our Restaurant Pro Express Software has been mentioned in Hospitality Magazine.

When Bret Graham, the owner of Lakin Dairy Queen in Lakin, Kansas, installed Restaurant Pro Express from Budget POS (budgetpos.com), his cashiers were able to process orders faster because of graphical changes he was able to make to the keys and screen layouts.

“At DQ school, you would push a button for a Blizzard and it would ask you: exotic or candy. The cashier here didn't know what that meant,” Graham explains. He noted that the initial point-of-sale setup created occasional bottlenecks, especially at the drive-thru.

“It was easy to make changes to the Access database to include all Blizzard flavors first, then size,” he says. Graham maintains that these changes were partially responsible for reducing average drive-thru times from three minutes to 90 seconds.

We have reached the point where many restaurants with restaurant software selling for FIVE times our price are switching.

Getting through to Technical Support: Our support lines are always free more than 60 percent of the time. We get very few called before 11 a.m. At times, it seems like everyone decides to call at the same time. As of June 8th, we are adding additional support personnel. However, there are lots of ways that you can get answers from us. You can email support directly at tech@budgetpos.com. You will normally receive an answer the same day or before noon of the next business day. You can use AIM (America Online Instant Messenger). It is free and can be downloaded by going to aol.com. You do not need America Online to use AIM. Once again, it's free. Use AIM to chat with our tech support people using posnow or posnow2 as the "buddy" name. For an additional charge, we also offer outbound, weekend, and onsite services available.
