Cash Register Express and Restaurant Pro Express Version 9.0 were released on April 2, 2003!
One of our big enhancements was the addition of online credit card authorizations. It turns out that this has been a huge success! We have several large customers who have switched from modem or terminal credit card authorizations to Internet authorizations using a high-speed DSL, cable, or other broadband connection. The results are 3 second authorizations compared to 30 seconds using the old method.
"I thought there was a bug in your program because the credit card authorizations was happening so fast. We do over $100,000 in sales over a 2 or 3 day period of time and your system (Cash Register Express and PC Charge) worked flawlessly" said one of our largest retail customers.

Our Online Credit Card Authorization requires a program sold separately called PC Charge.
