Connecting a Unitech Credit Card Reader to the computer

1) Make sure your computer is turned off.

2) Plug the keyboard Y adapter to the PC-WAND wedge device.  The adapter has a 25 pin plug that connects to the PC-WAND.

3) Connect the female (round plug) end to the keyboard.

4) Connect the Male end to the Keyboard Port on the computer.

5) Connect the credit card swipe to the RJ-45 jack labeled MSR on the PC-WAND.

6) Turn the computer on.





Connecting a Mag-Tek credit card reader to the computer.

1) Turn the computer off.

2) Connect the male keyboard plug to the keyboard.

3) Connect the female plug to the keyboard port.

4) Turn on the computer.

Testing the credit card reader.

1) Go to the Notepad in Accessories.

2) Swipe a credit card.  Your number should appear on the screen as if it was typed in on the keyboard.
